George L. Morstatt, 76, of Macungie, died peacefully Oct. 24, 2015, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late June E. (Scholl) Morstatt, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Cecelia (Sherer) Morstatt.
He was a self-employed residential carpenter for over 46 years, retiring in 2005.
He had a love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and boating in Canada, camping and backyard bonfires with his family.
He is survived by daughters, Kimberly A. and her husband R. Keith Landis, Michele and her husband Charles J. Angell, Pamela S. Kulp, all of Macungie; sons, George A. and his wife Tammie L., of Zionsville, Michael J. and his wife Cindy, of Emmaus, Keith A. and his companion Christa M. Minnich, of Macungie, Randall S. and his wife Michele L., of Kempton, stepdaughter, Bonnie L. Hager, of Salisbury, Md.; 19 grandchildren; four-legged companion, Woofer.

A celebration of his life will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Topton.
