Betty M. Saeger, 91, of Emmaus, died Oct. 15, 2015. She was the wife of the late Gerald Saeger. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Stella (Koch) Dougherty.

She began her career as a seamstress for the former Emmaus Pajama Factory. She then was a longtime teamster and shop steward at the former Pet Milk, Allentown.

She was an avid bowler and enjoyed needlepoint.

She is survived by children, Dianne Farber, Betty Engel and Randy, all of Allentown; James, of Waverly, Va., and Thom, of Wescosville; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Scott.
