John M. Gilbert, 38, of Alburtis, died Oct. 6, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of Christine L. (Frederick) Gilbert. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jeffrey G. and Carol L. (Beam) Gilbert, of Whitehall.

He was employed as a licensed practical nurse working for Genesis Healthcare in Quakertown.

He was an amateur radio enthusiast with call sign N3SQV.

He is survived by his wife; parents; daughter, Paige M., at home; brother, James M., of Allentown.
