Geneva L. Grim-Hasik, 89, of Kutztown, died Oct. 4, 2015, in her residence. She was the wife of the late John G. Grim and Frank Hasik. Born in Kutztown, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Murcy (Snyder) Kistler.

She owned and operated Jack and Jill Playhouse for 40 years, retiring in 1991.

She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus and the Kutztown’s Woman’s Club.

She is survived by son, John P. and his wife Roxanne, of Kutztown; daughter, Rita A. and her husband, Dr. Alan Robertson, of Kutztown; sister, Ruth and her husband Harold Fegley, of Fleetwood; sister-in-law, Irene Grim, of Kutztown; grandchildren, Dr. Nathaniel Robertson, Dr. Neil Robertson, Charla Grim and Jenna Grim; nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the church.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 9 in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus, 18049. A viewing will be held 1 to 2 p.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
