Eva M. (Bundy) Readinger, 95, of Macungie, died Oct. 2, 2015. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Readinger. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Jennie (Cole) Bundy Sr. of Orefield.

She was a 1938 graduate of the former South Whitehall High School and a 1941 graduate of the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing.

She was employed by Allentown General Hospital and later did private duty nursing and received a lifetime alumnae membership.

She had past memberships with the American Nurses Association, Pennsylvania Nurses Association and Macungie Ambulance Corps. Her community memberships included a charter membership with the Macungie Historical Society, past Macungie Memorial Park Association, Macungie Fire Co. #1, Senior Citizens Club of Macungie, and Lower Lehigh AARP chapter.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie and a past member of the altar guild.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary R. and her husband Thomas W. Schuck, of Macungie; granddaughter, Stephanie A. and her husband William F. Lone, of Florida; great-grandsons, Alexander J. and Patrick T. Lone. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ann; two sisters, Myrtle Mantz, Lillian Donat; brother, James Bundy Jr.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Oct. 10 in Grace Lutheran Church, 28 S. Main St., Macungie. Family and friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were made by Schantz Funeral Home. P.C., Emmaus.
