A resident of Pinehurst Road reported he was threatened near his residence around 2:45 a.m. Sept. 28.

According to police, the victim observed a man searching through his vehicle. When the victim left his home and approached the man, the suspect allegedly drew a gun, pointed it at the victim, and said, “Walk away, bro.”

The suspect, described as white or Hispanic, wearing a black pilot jacket and blue jeans, then walked off toward Robin Way. He took nothing from the vehicle.

A threat with a firearm is technically an assault.
