Paul J. Gildner, 89, of Macungie, died peacefully Sept. 24, 2015. He was the husband of Arlene (Berger) Gildner for 49 years. He was the son of the late Harry and Annie Gildner.
He was a United States Army veteran serving during World War II.
He was employed by Napa Auto Parts.
He was a member of the Macungie VFW.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Don and his wife Donna, of Emmaus, Glenn and his wife Diane, of Virginia; daughters, Susan and her husband Bob, of Bethlehem, Donna and her husband George, of Egypt, Jane and her husband Roger, of Orwigsburg; son-in-law, Hector; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 10 at New Beginnings, 1005 Brookside Road, Allentown. Graveside services will follow at Northwood Cemetery.
