Russell C. Becker, 67, of Allentown, died Sept. 15, 2015, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Elaine D. (Melton) Becker. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert S. and Arline V. (Carl) Becker, Jr.

He was an auto mechanic at Britt’s Firestone, Emmaus, for many years until retiring.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as well as having served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

He is survived by a son, Russell C. Jr. and his wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Dylan and Samantha and her husband, Nathan Daptula; brothers, Steve and his wife, Beverly and Donald; sisters, Marilynn and her husband Randy Johnsonand Teresa and her husband Dennis Rasley.
