Michael J. “Peanut” Strain, 69, of Salisbury Township., died Sept. 15, 2015. He was the husband of Linda L. (Demeter) Strain. They would have observed their 49th wedding anniversary in November. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late David and Helen (Harrich) Strain.

He was a welder at the former Lehigh Structural Steel Co. and at Gardner Cryogenics, retiring in 2013.

He was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

He graduated from Dieruff High School in 1964.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Michele, and her husband Todd Hill; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara “Topsy” Kemmerer and brother, David.
