Laura Licata Nolte

Laura Licata Nolte, 49, of Hockessin, Del., formerly of Allentown, died Sept. 20, 2015. She was the wife of R. Stokes Nolte. Born and raised in Allentown, she was the daughter of Carol Riordan.

She attended Emmaus High School. She then graduated from Villanova University (Cum Laude) 1988 and Temple University School of Law (with honors) 1991.

An attorney, she was admitted to practice law in both Delaware and Pennsylvania. Most recently, she practiced in the Delaware office of Reilly Janiczek McDevitt Henrich & Cholden, PC. She also served on the boards of several charitable organizations.

She was a dedicated Christian, an avid gardener and a lifelong athlete.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Emory, Andrew and Henry; mother and her husband George Riordan; sisters, Linda Harclerode and Lisa and her husband Tom LaVake; brother, Paul Licata.

A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 401 N. Union St., Kennett Square, 4 p.m. Sept. 26.
