Mary T. Smith, 87, of Macungie, formerly of Phillipsburg, N.J., died Sept. 12, 2015, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Smith to whom she was married for 57 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late R. Emmett and Margaret (O’Donnell) Green.
She worked in retail sales for Laneco in New Jersey prior to her retirement.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.
She and her husband enjoyed camping, boating on the Delaware River and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her 11 grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Mark E. and his wife Nancy, of Emmaus, Robert C. and his wife Eileen, of Westfield, N.J., Karen M. and her husband Alan Connelly, of Stanhope, N.J., and David D. and his wife Kathleen, of Ringwood, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Julia and her husband Carl Feichtel, of Whitehall and Sister Robert Marie O.S.F., of Willingboro, N.J. She was predeceased by brothers, Daniel, R. Emmett, Francis, Charles, John, Eugene and sister Kathryn Letcher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Sept. 16 in St. Ann Catholic Church. Calling will be 10 to 10:40 a.m. Sept. 16 in the church.
