Alice M. Fiest, 85, formerly of Emmaus, died Sept. 7, 2015, at Woodland Terrace at the Oaks. She was the beloved wife of Arthur L. Fiest, to whom she was married 64 years. Born in Kempton, she was the daughter of the late Carl L. and May I. (Snyder) Trexler.
She was a graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in pediatrics for the former Allentown Hospital.
She was an expert duplicate bridge player, avid gardener, talented seamstress and a great cook.
She was devoted to helping less fortunate people.
She is survived by her husband; sons, David L., of West Chester, Steven H., of Northampton, Dr. Thomas C., of Ocean, N.J. and Eric R., of Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Violet Joans, of Philadelphia and Betty Mahrer, of Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
