Attorney Richard “Dick” C. Buss, 86, of Whitehall, died Sept. 5, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Doris Pribilla.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Stanley R. Sr. and Deldee M. (Smoyer) Buss.
He was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and Temple University School of Law.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
He was a senior partner for many years with the Buss, Long and Lahr law firm, Whitehall, before his retirement. He was the solicitor for the Whitehall-Coplay School District.
He was a lifetime member of Fullerton American Legion Post 367.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Daniel T. and David J.; two daughters, Diane C. and her husband Walter Rupnik and Valerie and her husband Paul McNeill; grandchildren, Chelsea Lynn Buss and Matthew, Candice, Steven, and Christian McNeill; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Stanley Jr., Boyd (“Jack”) and Donald. There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m., both Sept. 11 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, 18052.
