Jacqueline L. Dailey, 63, of Alburtis, died Aug. 28, 2015, at Valley Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center, Coopersburg. She was the wife of Tommy D. Dailey. They celebrated 28 years of marriage in March. Born in Woodbridge, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Victor Rosenkranz and Eleanore (Kaplowitz) Rosenkranz-Rich.
She worked for Macy’s Department Store before retiring. Prior, she owned and operated the Ninth Street Naillery in Allentown and was a nurse’s aide at Phoebe Home and Lehigh Valley Hospice.
She was artistic, creative and a gourmet chef, renown in her circle of family, friends and neighborhood.
She was a grateful recipient of a heart and double lung transplant Sept. 12, 2002 and was a beacon of courage, strength and resolve.
She is survived by her husband; stepdaughter, Heather and her husband Hussein Elawawadh; brother, James Rosenkranz; sister, Elaine Rosenkranz; two step-grandchildren, Hassin and Huda; uncle, Sidney Kaplowitz; aunts, Pauline Duffey, Shirley Kaplowitz and Sheila Kaplowitz.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with their expenses, c/o the funeral home.
