Dorothy A. (Wright) “Cookie” Procopio, 71, of Bethlehem, formerly of Macungie, died Sept. 2, 2015. She was formerly married to Brian S. Procopio. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Donald S. and Dorothy A. (Walsh) Wright Sr.

She worked as a processor for 31 years at the Bon-Ton Distribution Center in Whitehall prior to her retirement in 2006.

She was a 1961 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and then attended Gwynedd Mercy University.

She was formerly a member of Ss. Simon & Jude, Bethlehem and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield.

She was a member of the Ontelaunee Lioness Club and the Lower Macungie Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a son, Michael and his wife Cindy, of Middletown, N.J.; daughter, Karen Zettlemoyer, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; brothers, Donald S. Jr. and his wife Santa, of Bethlehem Township, James P., and John P. and his wife Kim, both of Bethlehem; sister, Jane F. Wright, of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Katrina Dunn, Elizabeth Dunn, Victoria Oxenford and Shana McAllister; great-granddaughters, Lana, Star and De’Asia. She was predeceased by brothers, George Anthony and William J. and sister Mary Alice.
