Roland Fehnel, 85, of Northampton, died Aug. 22, 2015, at his home. He was the husband of the late Mae E. (Diehl).

Born in Weaversville, he was a son of the late Roland Senora (Jacoby) Fehnel.

He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a machine operator for the former Stroh’s Brewery, Allentown, for 30 years until he retired in 1992. Before that, he worked in the repair department for Roth Brothers Furniture Store, Northampton, for 22 years.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Whitehall.

He is survived by a brother-in-law, Dale Diehl of Allentown; and three sisters-in-law, Fern Diehl of Schnecksville, and Lorraine Berta and Doris Moyer, both of Allentown.
