Linda A. Smith, 72, formerly of North Catasauqua, died Aug. 29, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, 1627 W. Chew St., Allentown. She was the wife of the late Roy R. Smith Jr.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Hilda (Brown) Carl.

She was a 1961 Catasauqua High School graduate.

She was a clerk for the former Two Guys Department Store in the 1970s. She retired from Toy ‘R Us after 24 years of service.

She was a member of the Old Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, Kreidersville.

She is survived by a son, Kevin M. of Lehighton; three daughters, Lisa and her husband Tom Schaeffer of Allentown, Treena and her husband John Haggerty of Lehigh Township, and Amy and her husband Mike George of Allentown; a sister, Marlene and her husband Gene Hilt of Saylorsburg; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; niece; and nephews.
