North Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 14

· A sounding fire alarm brought officers to the 1400 block of Main Street.

· Police were called to the 1200 block of Second Street for a complaint of high weeds.

· Officers assisted EMS in the 1200 block of Seventh Street.

AUG. 15

· Police responded to a sounding alarm in the 1300 block of Howertown Road.

· A report of an attempted burglary brought officers to the 1400 block of Main Street.

· Police were called to the 1000 block of Third Street for an overdose.

· A 911 hang-up called officers to the 1200 block of Third Street.
