School will resume for students Aug. 31.

First day of practice for 2015 fall sports schedules are for Aug. 17:

·Jr. High and Varsity Cheerleading (7-12th grade): 8 a.m.-noon at the stadium/track;

·Golf (9-12th grade): 2-4 p.m. at Olde Homestead Practice Facility. Report to the facility by 2 p.m. at which time everyone will play the nine-hole course and must score 50 or less strokes to advance to day two of the tryout.

·JV and Varsity Boys Soccer (9-12th grade): 8:30-11 a.m. and 3-5:30 p.m. at the middle school soccer field;

·JV and Varsity Girls Soccer (9 -12th grade): 5:45-8 p.m. at middle school soccer field;

·Middle School Field Hockey (7th and 8th grade): 8-11:30 a.m. - middle school field hockey field;

·JV and Varsity Field Hockey (9-12th grade): 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at high school field hockey field;

·Jr. High Football (7th-9th grade) 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.;

·JV and Varsity Football (9-12th grade): 7 a.m.-3 p.m. (first day of official practice), Stadium Field House;

·Middle School and Varsity Cross Country (7-12th grade): 8-10 a.m. in front of high school gym.

High School

Students in grades nine through 12 will be issued a new 11-inch MacBook Air laptop for use throughout high school.

Middle School

Sixth grade student and parent orientation will take place 8:30-10 a.m. Aug. 26 in the middle school auditorium.

Book fair runs Aug. 31 to Sept. 3.

Students are invited to stop by and purchase any of the various selections provided by Scholastic Books.

Proceeds from the book fair are used to purchase items for the library.

Elementary Schools

Northwestern and Weisenberg elementary schools' kindergarten and new student orientation will take place 2-3:30 p.m. Aug. 26.
