Andrew Edward Matika, 87, of Whitehall, died Aug. 7, 2015, at home. He was the husband of Lillian M. (Bodisch) Matika for 64 years.
Born in Hokendauqua, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Pavlovchin) Matika.
He was in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.
He was a spray painter for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 24 years.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catasauqua.
He was a life member of the West Catasauqua Fire Company, the Whitehall AARP and the UAW, Mack Local.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dennis and his wife Deborah of Langhorne and Gary and his wife Barbara of Schnecks-ville; three grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle and Kelsey; two brothers-in-law, Anthony and Ray Bodisch; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Michael.
