Lorraine M. Haas, 87, of Emmaus, died Aug. 5, 2015, in Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of the late Donald W. Haas. Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Minnie J. (Warmkessel) Herbster.

She was a 1946 graduate of Whitehall High School and a 1950 graduate of Kutztown State College.

She was a teacher at The Lutheran Home at Topton and for the East Penn School District.

She was a charter member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit and was a choir member.

She was a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and taught Tai Chi at Fellowship Manor.

She is survived by a son, Dean and his wife Karen, of Kutztown; daughters, Winona Schappell, of Breinigsville, Denise and her husband Frank Mazurek, of Allentown and Celeste and her husband Tom Deily, of Alburtis; grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Greg, Rebecca, Kevin, Sarah, Nicholas and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Leah, Lilly, Lorelei, and Calvin.
