K. Herbert Turk, Jr., 83, of Emmaus, died Aug. 9, 2015, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. He was the husband of Adelaide (Kadan) Turk. Born in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Karl Herbert, Sr. and Leila (Rutherford) Turk.
He was a graduate of McDonogh School, Baltimore, and Washington College, Chestertown, Md. His grandfather, Karl, discovered and was responsible for the patent of the "wet/dry" process of casting enamel. He also founded PEMCO Manufacturing, Baltimore, until being purchased by the Bayer Corp.
He was employed at Bayer Corp. as a district sales representative.
He is survived by his wife; son, Michael and his wife, Kim; daughter, Laura and her husband, Eric Lee; sister, Mariellen and her husband Roger Schultz; grandchildren, Christina and Kaitlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 14, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus. A calling period will be held 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
