Laura S. Williams, 54, of Emmaus, died July 29, 2015. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Marlene (Hamann) Sternberger and the late Robert Sternberger.

She was a passionate and dedicated registered respiratory therapist in the Pediatric ICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest campus since 1998. She previously worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., for several years.

She was an avid motorcycle rider who recently shared this post: "It's amazing what some fresh air can do for your soul... I am grateful for everytime I have the opportunity to be on two wheels."

She is survived by her mother, daughters, Andrea L. Borboa, of Emmaus and Chelsea J. Williams, of Lancaster; and a granddaughter, Jaci A. Borboa.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, 1629 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. A calling period will take place noon to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Andrea Borboa in care of the funeral home.
