Albert P. Check, 84, of Catasauqua, died July 22, 2015, in Gracedale County Home, Nazareth. He was the husband of Catherine J. (Gollatz) Check for 60 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Kasprik) Check.

He was in the U.S Army during the Korean War.

He was a machinist with Bonney Forge for many years before retiring.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catasauqua.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dr. Sandra and her husband David Miller; a son, Albert A.; two sisters, Margaret Sperlbaum and Caroline Rennig; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Emil and Michael.
