The items were their entry fees for the ninth annual Sixth Grade Turkey Trot last November. Students ran or walked a 1-mile course. Winners in the girls and boys categories included: Kayla Bardonner, first place; Lexi Bleam, second place; Lauren Hinks, third place; Justin Rodda, first place; Nick Henry, second place; and Jeff Garcia, third place.
