Margie K. Kern, 68, of West Catasauqua, died July 14, 2015, in her home.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Doris (Warmkessel) Kern.

She was a 1965 Whitehall High School graduate.

She was a clerk for the former Hilbert's Pharmacy, Fullerton.

She attended Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She volunteered with the West Catasauqua Volunteer Fire Company auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Timothy J. and his wife Suzanne of Whitehall; two grandchildren, Hallie and Hunter; a sister, Bonnie and her husband Michael Waterhouse of Coplay; two aunts; nieces; nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Maryjane Longenbach; and a brother, Melvin Hirschel.
