Evelyn H. Moyer, 82, of Mertztown, died July 9, 2015, at Mosser Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Moyer. Born in Mertztown, she was the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Hilda S. (Snyder) Smith.

Known affectionately as the "Egg Lady," she, along with her late husband, operated an egg and potatoes stand at Renningers for 36 years. They also had a huckster route in Allentown and Alburtis.

She was a custodian at Brandywine School District and worked at Royal Manufacturing in Alburtis.

She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd UCC and Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Harold and his wife Darla; grandsons, Eric and his wife Elisa and Mark.
