Stanley W. Reinhard Jr.

Stanley W. Reinhard Jr., 84, of Coplay, died July 7, 2015, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of Beverly F. (Druckenmiller) Reinhard. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Stanley W. Sr. and Jennie E. (Miller) Reinhard.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a foreman for Freeman's Diary, Allentown.

He was a member and a former council president of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.

He was a past state commander and a state activities director of the Pennsylvania American Legion until he retired as its state adjutant. He was a past commander of Coplay Post 426. He was a past president and a fire chief of the Coplay Fire Company.

He was chairman of the Coplay Parkway and Recreation and the Coplay Civil Service Commissions. He was inducted into the American Legion Sports Hall of Fame, the Pennsylvania Department of Military Affairs Hall of Fame, and the first inductee to the Pennsylvania Sons of the American Legion Hall of Fame. He was the last president of Scotland School for Veterans Children Board of Trustees. He was a chairman of the Pennsylvania Veterans Memorial Commission.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffrey of Whitehall; three daughters, Cindy J. and her husband Thomas Graf of Allentown, Jodi L. of Lehighton, and Penny J. of Coplay; a stepson, George and his wife Carol Keiser of Quarkertown; and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Jay, Mark, Christopher, Ann and Kevin.

He was predeceased by a sister, Janice Confer.
