Albert J. Borda, 85, of Catasauqua, died July 11, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of the late Priscilla A. (Smith) Borda.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Alex and Anna (Hegedus) Borda.

He was a seaman in the U.S Navy and a veteran of Korea.

He was in custodial services at Sheckler Elementary School, Catasauqua, for many years until he retired in 2014.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 215, Catasauqua.

He is survived by two daughters, Candace and her husband Lyman Leibensperger of Catasauqua, and Wendy Thomma and her companion Pat Yorke of Northampton; a son, Randy A. and his wife Lori of Catasauqua; and seven grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, Albert, William, Devin, Ryan and Thomas.
