Ronald S. Sayre, 84, of Emmaus, died July 12, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Julia P. (Romig) Sayre. They were married 55 years in May. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George and Adele (Shaffer) Sayre.

He worked for 11 years at Bloch's Hobby Shop, 20 years at Bethlehem Pattern and Model Shop and retired from Weaver's Gems and Minerals.

He was a member of East Central PA 2 Cylinder Club, Inc. and Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Annette L. and her husband Ernest Schwartz, Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda Flickinger and Ernest Schwartz III and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra A. Stauffer in 2013.

Services will be held 11 a.m. July 17 in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
