Madelyn M. Laub

Madelyn M. Laub, 88, of Upper Saucon Town-ship, died July 12, 2015, in her home. She was the wife of the late Kermit C. Laub who died Jan. 22, 2011. Born in Locust Valley, she was the daughter of the late William J.B. and Violet G. (Cressman) Knappenberger.

She was a dedicated member of St. Paul's (Blue) Church, Coopersburg where she served on the altar guild.

She was an avid Phillies fan and a true angel. She passed along her passion for bluegrass and country music and was always ready to sit and listen to the many talented musicians in her family. She was supportive and kind-hearted and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her family.

She is survived by children, Patricia Schleifer, widow of Thomas, of Robesonia and Kermit K., widower of Cindy, of Marysville; grandchildren, Monika, Rebeka, Keith and Adam; great-grandson, Luke; siblings, Pearl Richards and Roger Knappenberger. She was predeceased by a brother, William F.D. Knappenberger.

Contributions may be made to the church, 18036.

Services will be held 11 a.m. July 17 at St. Paul's (Blue) Church, 5900 Applebutter Hill Road, Coopersburg. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. July 17 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
