Members of the Northwestern Lehigh Football Booster Club and team were recently outside the stadium setting up buckets and hoses for a car wash to begin at 10 a.m.
Booster Club Vice President Dana Snyder said the coach likes to hold the car wash, an annual event, as a team-building exercise.
Coach Josh Snyder said it was a beautiful day for a car wash. Community members do a good job of coming out and supporting the team.
"This is a good way to help because people get something in return and the team does something worthwhile," Snyder said.
The first car to go through the wash belonged to Michael and Jeannine Leonard.
Michael Leonard said they would do anything to support the team.
