Eric C. Johnson, 49, of Kutztown, died June 26, 2015, surrounded by family in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born Nov. 2, 1965, in Warren, he was a son of Darrell and Barbara Christensen Johnson.

He graduated from Penn State University in 1989 where he met his loving wife Rebecca Englander.

The two married in 1991, had their son Christopher in 1994, and their daughter Elizabeth in 1996.

His family was his pride and joy and the light of his life.

An engineer for PPL, he got to see much of the world with his family, but was happiest at home tinkering in his garage, spending time with his dog, helping friends with their handyman needs, or simply being with his wife and kids.

He was an avid motorcycle restorationist and enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his son Christopher C.; daughter Elizabeth L., both at home; and sister Kirsten Johnson of Fredericksburg, Va.

His services will be at the convenience of the family.
