Barry G. Woodring, 74, of Emmaus, died July 2, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Lagler) Woodring, with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage. Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late George R. and Mae L. (Kratzer) Woodring.

He was a 1959 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He co-owned and operated Woodring's Market for 33 years with his wife, retiring in 2004.

He was a longtime member of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, Emmaus.

He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Andrea S. Andres, of Whitehall and Susanne L. Velas, of Whitehall; sister, Diane and her husband Richard Hogan, of Allentown; brother David and his wife Mona, of South Carolina; grandchildren, Paige and Dylan Velas and Callista and Justin Andres; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Gail Dieter.
