Stephen Edward Minninger, 87, of Slatington, died June 18, 2015, at home in Waldheim Park, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Florine (Mohn) Minninger.

Born in Limeport, he was a son of the late Elizabeth (Fichter) Minninger.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a change-over inspector at Mack Trucks, Allentown, for 31 years until he retired in 1987.

He is survived by a son, Thomas of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Susan and her husband William Rauch of Slatington; and three granddaughters, Ellen, Emily and Erica.

He was predeceased by a brother, William.
