Berks Parks and Recreation's multi-day camp "There's No Place Like Home" will answer all questions of where animals call home.
Kids in kindergarden through third grade will search in a field, forest, pond and stream for all kinds of animal homes.
Then, they will get to build their own habitat.
The camp will take place 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. July 6-10, at Angora Fruit Farm Park, 502 Angora Road, Reading.
Children ages 5 to 9 will get to learn, explore and have fun in nature.
The recreation department will present its Discovery Days educational single day camp experience for children ages 5-9, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in July and August:
· The Artistic Life of a Leaf: July 16;
· Boots, Buckets and Beyond: July 23;
· Ferns, Feathers, and Fibers: July 30; and
· Milkweed and Monarchs: Aug. 6.
There is a fee for both the multi-day camp and the single day program.
Spots are limited for both camp programs.
The Nature Discovery Camps are a perfect way to connect kids to nature.
