Eric J. Gross, 43, of Mertztown, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family June 25, 2015. He was the husband of Jennifer L. (Feiertag) Gross. They celebrated 15 years of marriage. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Nelson "Nip" S. and Irene K. (Cseh) Gross.

He was the proprietor of Gross Painting, Inc. of Mertztown and was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1989.

He is survived by his wife; parents; sons Cole E. and Mason A.; brother, Stephen T. and his wife, Debbie; maternal grandmother, Irene Cseh; mother-in-law, Margo Feiertag; brother-in-law, Joseph S. Feiertag and his wife, Christina; aunt, Eva M. Marshall; nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the family to help establish an educational fund for the children. Checks can be made payable to Jennifer L. Gross and sent to her home or the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. July 1 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling period will be held 5 to 7 p.m. July 1 in the funeral home.
