The Heidelberg Township Environmental Advisory Council is presenting a guest speaker 7 p.m. July 14 in the Heidelberg Township municipal building, 6272 Route 309, New Tripoli.

Join the EAC for an evening discussion and PowerPoint presentation hosted by Cathy Leiber.

She will discuss a program from Penn State that specifically addresses what a homeowner needs to do to certify their garden/property as pollinator friendly.

It is a simple, four-step process aimed to get more people across Pennsylvania to think about the impact each one of us can make on the planet by planting more pollinator-friendly flowers, shrubs and trees. Learn how to attract pollinators and ways to help prevent their demise.
