Gloria J. O'Connell, 60, of Catasauqua, died June 10, 2015, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of John T. O'Connell for 28 years.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Pauline (Hoke) Bendzlowicz.

She was an administrative assistant for Bethlehem Vo-Tech for many years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catasauqua.

She was the current treasurer of t he St. Elizabeth Athletic Association. She was a past treasurer and umpire assigner for the Central Whitehall Baseball Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John T. Jr.; and a step daughter, Pati O'Connell.

She was predeceased by a son, Stacy Bendzlowicz; and a brother, Kevin.

Contributions may be made to the Stacy Bendzlowicz memorial scholarship fund, to be used for the culinary arts, c/o the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, 18032.
