Frank J. Schlaffer III, 64, of Coopersburg, died June 15, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Kathleen M. (Sedmak) Schlaffer for 33 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Ann F. (Fedio) Schlaffer of Whitehall and the late Frank J. Schlaffer.

He was a 1968 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He owned a neon company for many years. Previously, he worked on the assembly line for Mack Trucks, having started in Allentown and completeing his career in Macungie.

He volunteered with the Li'l Lehigh Trout Nursery for many years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Gary "Bush" P. and his wife Pamela (Eroh) Schlaffer of Whitehall; a sister, Patti and her husband Michael Kelly of Massachusetts; and nieces and nephews and their families.
