"Hildi" I. Gesoff, 98, of Macungie, died June 22, 2015. She was the wife of the late Meyer S. Gesoff who died in 1995. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Goldstein) Merkin.

She was a member of Temple Beth El, Allentown.

She was a prolific songwriter, poet and knitter.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Williams; grandson, Jonathan Goldman and his daughters, Isabella and Kate; granddaughter, Jennifer Mavronicolas and her son Evan; brother, Sanford Merkin. She was predeceased by a brother, Norman Merkin.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. June 24 at Beth El Memorial Park, Whitehall. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
