Stahl's Pottery Preservation Society was founded in 1987 to preserve and interpret Stahl's Pottery site.

The site includes the potting shed, home of Thomas and Alice Stahl, and the round, stone wood-fired kiln built in 1933-34.

All funds raised at the event help to continue the preservation and interpretation of the site.
