Hope Lutheran Church, located at 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, will host its annual Hope Fest this Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, from 5 to 10 p.m. on the Hope Lutheran grounds.

There will be fun and festivities for all, including live music, food, a cake raffle, a Chinese auction, jewelry sale and lots of bingo.

Musical entertainment will include the Rehrig Brothers, Friday, 6 to 9:30 p.m., and The Large Flowerheads, Saturday, 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Dr. Jim Dunn will be a guest speaker at Bethany Wesleyan Church this Saturday, June 20, 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 21, 9 and 10:45 a.m.

Dunn is the father of a young adult and a teenager. His wife passed away two years ago. He will speak on dealing with losses and continuing to parent and navigate life's transitions.
