Tilghman A. (Chuck) Miller, 82, formerly of Havelock, N.C., died May 16, 2015, in Chesapeake, Va.

He was a retired master sergeant, serving his country for 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a 20-year Red Cross volunteer at the Naval Health Clinic, Cherry Point.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Jean; his three children, Karen Daugherty, wife of Roger, Charles Miller, husband of Emily, and Patricia Miller; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
