Ann T. Trembley, 87, of Whitehall, died June 5, 2015, at Fellowship Community. She was the wife of the late J. Evariste "Ev" Trembley for 48 years.
Born in Arlington, Va., she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Grace (Shotwell) Trembley.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hokendauqua, where she was a member of the church's women's group.
She was, for many years, a volunteer for pre-school eye screening and worked at the election polls on voting days. She was a member of the Whitehall Women's Club for decades.
She is survived by five sons, John and his wife Marguerite ("Micki") of Allentown; William and his wife Eileen of Coplay; James and his wife Cherylann of Saugus, Mass.; Steven and his wife Sandra of Alburtis; and Robert and his wife Jane of Chelmsford, Mass.; a daughter, Jeanne (Dorney) and her husband Kevin Chapkovich of Emmaus; seven grandchildren, Andrew Smicker, John Clark, and Jason, Jessica, Joshua, Lucas and Sarah Trembley; one great-grandchild, William "Liam" MIchael Smicker; a brother, Jesse Tanner of Vienna, Va.; a sister, Merle (Tanner) Kelton of Kilmarnock, Virginia.; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Betty (Tanner) Hall and Edna (Tanner) Kendall, both from Virginia.
