Eugene Martin Wolf
Eugene Martin Wolf, 92, formerly of Macungie, and Lake City, Fla., died May 26, 2015, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of the late RoseMarie C. (Gehringer) Wolf. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Alois G. Wolf and the late Ellen C. (Sweeney) Wolf and stepson of the late Ruth N. (Neidig) Wolf.
He was a supervisor at Hellertown Manufacturing from 1951 until retiring in 1981. Prior to that, he worked for Kintzels in Allentown as a television installer and he worked for the Charis Corp.
He was a graduate of Allentown High School and the Radio School in New York City.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. While in the Navy, he served in the Naval Intelligence Department for eight years. He was a member of the U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans organization.
He and his wife were avid square dancers and past members of the Melody Lakes Square Dancers. He was a past member of the Fearless Fire Company bowling league for 25 years. After his retirement, he enjoyed and excelled in the hobby of painting.
He and his wife shared their crafts at countless craft shows for years. They enjoyed time spent with their grandchildren and had sleepovers with them often. After moving to Florida, he and his wife remained active playing cards with friends, exercising, golfing and fishing.
He is survived by sons, Daniel and his wife Jane, of Seattle, Wash. and Robert and his wife Ellen of Lehighton; daughters, Cheryl and her husband Ronald Wasek, of Charlotte, N.C., and Rosanne Kocher, of Emmaus; sister, Yvonne and her husband Steve Petruska, of Summerfield, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by eight siblings.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. June 16 in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown.
