Robert "Bob" G. Hetten Sr., 77, of Whitehall, died May 17, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra (Bartholomew) Hetten.
Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Althea Yenik and Charles Hetten.
He earned general educational development (GED) credentials with the Navy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was aboard the U.S.S. Northampton and the U.S.S. Cascade following the Korean War.
He, along with his wife, owned the Kopper Penny Drive-In, Northampton. They operated Bob Hetten Concessions at local fairs, festivals and carnivals, and, in the off-season, other small businessess.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #484, North Catasauqua. A 32nd degree mason, he was a member of the Royal Arch Chapter 278 and of the Irem Shriners, Dallas.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert Jr. and his wife Lynn Fuini-Hetten of Slatington; a brother, Ronald and his wife Nancy of Stratford, Conn.; two grandchildren, Robert Hetten III and Matthew Hetten; aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Russel; aunts; and uncles.
