Parkland Middle School Science Olympiad won first at state and then competed at the National Science Olympiad at Lincoln, Neb., winning 11th place in the nation.

Science Olympiad 2015 participants include Roy Ghosh, Vikram Pandian, Nishant Chitluru, James Kim, Aryaman Khandelwal, Habeeb Salau. Aditi Pallod, Nehali Gupta, Priyanka Hanumaihgari, Sahil Inaganti, Thwisha Anantasagar, Karthik Chavan, Rashmi Raghuraman , Praneel Rajkumar, Vidhyasai Annem, Neha Pamidi, Head coach Dr. Sam Ghosh, Assistant head coach Zubeda Ghosh, Student Coaches Shaumik Phadke and Sabrina Ghosh.

Team members Vikram Pandian and Praneel Rajkumar won second place in the air trajectory.

Aryaman Khandelwal and Aditi Pallod won first place in the bio process lab and James Kim and Sahil Inaganti won first place in the green generation category.

At the Intel International Science Fair in Pittsburgh, Roy Ghosh placed second in the world in Biomedical Sciences and Vikram Pandian placed fourth in the world in Energy.
