George F. Nemchik, 88, of Bath, died April 20, 2015, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Joanne (Raysely) Nemchik. They celebrated 40 years of marriage on Oct. 4, 2014.
Born in Bath, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Salko) Nemchik.
He honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He worked in the carpenter department as a tinsmith at the Bethlehem Steel Corp., for 38 years, retiring in 1986.
He is survived by his wife; son, George, Jr., and his wife Tina, of Ga.; daughters, Kathy of Bethlehem; Terry and her husband Jeff Krause, of Macungie; Terry and her husband Mark Boyko, of Ashfield, Debra Pike, of Northampton, Donna Wall of Northampton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by the Reichel Funeral Home, Inc., Northampton.
