Janet M. Smale, 71, of Whitehall, died May 12, 2015, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Robert H. Smale of Whitehall and the late Irene M. (Kovach) Smale.

She was a clerk and computer data entry worker for Sears until she retired after 31 years.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ Mickleys, Whitehall.
